Both of our gumbos are simply the most delicious tasting gumbos on the gulf coast. These authentic Cajun classic bayou dishes were handed down through the generations in the heartland of Louisiana's Acadiana.
The okra and most of the seasonings in our gumbos are grown locally on our property in Waveland assuring the freshest and finest quality for the best flavors. And the combination of the wonderful seasonings, broth and quality meats also assure the very best.
Our gumbo is available in quart containers frozen to retain the perfectly blended flavors.

Poppe's also makes his delicious stuffed peppers once again using his special handed down Cajun recipes. We offer meat stuffed and seafood stuffed peppers. Customers love our wonderfully seasoned and full to overflowing large peppers, once again home grown.
Our meat stuffed peppers have two different meats, pork and beef, blended with wonderful vegetables and seasonings. The seafood stuffed peppers are full of crab meat and shrimp along with the tasteful blend of vegetables and seasonings as well. Both make a complete wholesome meal.
